Musical Instruments and Ensembles

Teaching students to play an instrument is a wonderful way to enrich their education. Eton School offers violin, cello, piano, guitar and flute classes based on the Suzuki Methodology. Music teaching with the Suzuki Method, also known as the mother-tongue approach, is not only useful for educating musicians, but also for enriching children´s souls and allowing them develop nobility through music.

The Suzuki Method is based on a theory of repetitions within an appropriate environment, where students, parents and teachers are all part of the teaching-learning process. At Eton School, we enhance this method with reading sheet music and conducting group classes to create musical ensembles.
